Z captures

I'm sure many of you already know, but I will tell the story again. Recently I wanted to explore my artsy side more and started taking photography classes. Finally I finished 9 weeks introduction to photography. At the end of nine weeks every student got to do their own exhibition.  I did too !!!!!

Like every student who finished nine weeks (many of them dropped out)  I submitted my six best shots. All were black & white. My project's subject was signs. Here are the pictures.

Everyone at exhibition loved this shot. Yes I was sitting on the ground, while I was photographing this moment.

This picture was my husband's favorite. Guess where I was, when I clicked the camera?

This is very interesting technic. It is called panning. Basically I tracked school bus while it was moving. I was so proud I was able to achieve this technic.

I love this image. This is my decisive moment like Henri Cartier- Bresson. Basically I sat down and waited someone to pass by. Blurriness of the guy was made on purposely. I used very low shutter. That is an other technic.

This is another my decisive moment. I was in Chelsea. I wanted to capture a cute guy coming out of that tunnel. Well! I didn't have to wait much! There is always  lots of cute guys in Chelsea. You know what I mean :)

Last image is a reflection. I'm recently obsessed with reflections.

I hope you guys enjoyed the photographs. I will be working a lot to improve my photography skills. I'm planning to take more classes after summer. Also I dedicated another my blog for photography. It is called Z captures. You should visit there too.

Looks like you did a nice job and learned a lot! I like your blurred figure in front of American Eagle, and you're right, the guy coming out of the tunnel is cute!
